Ned is a 1977 magna cum laude graduate of Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed as a certified public accountant by the Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Connecticut Boards of Accountancy. Ned's entire career has been in public accounting, dealing with businesses in the areas of tax, business consulting, auditing, and other related services.

Ned is very involved in the local community. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, the Board of Directors of The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors and Officer of The Society of The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Golf Tournament Committee.

Ned is a Past President and Treasurer of the North Attleboro/Plainville AreaChamber of Commerce, a past President and Treasurer of The Turks Head Club and Past Chairman of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. He has also been involved with many committees of the Rhode Island Society of CPA's.

Ned resides in Wickford, RI with his wife April Williams McCrory and children Alex and Kate.
