Michael is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a graduate of Bryant College where he received a Masters of Science Degree in Taxation. He is a member of the tax division of the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael has over twenty-seven years of tax experience including time spent with the Internal Revenue Service and a national accounting firm. He has serviced publicly held and middle-market companies concentrated in the manufacturing, retail and distribution industries.

Michael has been a professor of corporate taxation at Bryant College in their Masters in Taxation Program since 1989. He is also a frequent speaker on a wide range of tax related topics for professional organization.
