Michael is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a graduate of Bryant College where he received a Masters of Science Degree in Taxation. He is a member of the tax division of the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael has over thirty years of tax experience including time spent with the Internal Revenue Service and a national accounting firm. He has serviced publicly held and middle-market companies concentrated in the manufacturing, retail and distribution industries.

Michael has been a professor of corporate taxation at Bryant College in their Masters in Taxation Program since 1989. He is also a frequent speaker on a wide range of tax related topics for professional organization.
